Film : The Dirty Picture
Year of release : 2011
Spoken by : Ramakant (Tushar Kapoor)
Spoken to : Reshma (Vidya Balan)
Dialogue writer : Rajat Aroraa
This was a crass and over hyped film. Vidya Balan's performance was predictable for the most part and puerile at times. Yet our country celebrates this as the victory of feminism and all that blah. I will hold back my rant and get down to the task on hand
The film swept all the award for best dialogues that year. However, the dialogues were crass at best. Yet there were some okay lines in the film. Since this blog is about lines that you can use in real life, this line might fit here. So here goes
Ramakant is a sensitive writer and the younger brother of the egomaniacal superstar Suryakant (superbly essayed by Naseer - the way he says "it's a curse" is superb). In an interaction with Reshma, Ramakant says
"dil bhale hee left me.n hotaa hai, magar uske faisle hamesha right hote hai.n"
"दिल भले ही लेफ़्ट में होता है, मगर उसके फ़ैसले हमेशा राइट होते हैं"
